"The Miss Persis Studio has been teaching children in Arlington to dance for over 60 years. Miss Persis herself, with many years experience in professional theater and dance, still teaches some of the classes, as does her daughter, Persis Ann, a well-respected actor, instructor and choreographer in her own right. The rest of the staff are caring individuals with a good many of them growing up taking lessons at Miss Persis Studio themselves! (In fact, growing up in Arlington, almost everyone "took dancing" at Miss Persis Studio at some point.)

In addition to the classic styles like ballet, tap and jazz, they also offer Cotillion classes to youngsters--a fun way for elementary-age children to learn social skills that they will use for a lifetime!

And to round it out, Miss Persis Studio is home to the non-profit organization "Dance Theatre of Arlington" that sponsors the Company that performs at dozens of charitable events throughout the year. DTA is also proud sponsor of Teen Talent Follies, a scholarship program for talented youth, as well as Dance!TEXAS, a two-day event giving dancers an opportunity to learn from the Masters.
